Throwback.

Blogging needs so much time and effort for me, and all the day's work does not permit me at all. It takes a while for me to write with clear thoughts. And the reason why I have time now is that there's nothing to work with. It's not even Thursdays for me to do throwbacks, but who cares? I've been doing a lot of throwbacks whenever I want it on social media for no reason at all. Here they go!

A month ago, my officemates and I went to a Korean restaurant called Woorigohyang. I should make a separate blog entry about that. Anyway, there were side dishes as a staple, and the Kimbap made an impression all of a sudden. I'm no cook, but when I feel like doing something, I swear I'd do it.

I prepared the stuff needed for Kimbap.

But my mother ended up doing everything.
Though I wanted to make Kimbap on my own (well I can, but if others can do it, let them) but my mother insisted to do it... simply because she makes better Kimbap than I do.

Also, because I found drinking Hot Chai Latte from Starbucks a bit expensive, I tried making the drink on my own. Although it took some amount for me to come up with the ingredients I have, they'll last for more than a year. And I can have my favorite drink anytime I want! Hello, Masala Chai.

SOCIETY Assam Tea and McCormick Spices: Ginger and Cloves.
(Don't mind the sage and thyme, they're my kitchen staple.)

Dry roast the other ingredients: Cardamom, peppercorns,
cinnamon bark and star anise.

Grind.

Filter the rest of the ingredients using a filter bag and
steep the tea bag with it.
Add hot water, sugar and powdered milk.
It tasted so close to Starbuck's Chai Latte. It's creamy, aromatic, and the tea tastes great. Can't help not be proud of myself.  ლ(╹◡╹ლ)

Sometime ago, maybe last month, I tried to watercolor. I never touched it again after I took a photo of it. I'm so sorry. Everytime I see it, I can't help get disappointed.

I should really stop procrastinating or else, my future career is doomed. I won't be a web designer/graphic artist forever! ヽ(#`Д´)ノ If there will be a polyglot illustrator/yoga practitioner/cat, that would be me.

I should've included in my new year's resolution to never post super late blog entries. Perhaps I can do that for 2014?  ( ̄ー ̄)
