Sungha Jung Live in Manila

Last June 18, my friends and I attended Sungha Jung Philippine Tour concert at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila. It's not allowed to take pictures so the photos I have just suck. I attached two Youtube videos of the songs he did at the concert.

Happy Camper

Last weekend, my uncle from Japan came, and he had goodies with him!

I won't say no to these beautiful, little treats!

AWESOME NEW YEAR!!!

YES PLZ!

I've got some plans, but this time, I won't tell. I won't tell unless I've done it. I noticed that some plans don't happen when I tell others about it so I'm trying a new approach.

I'm thankful for all the good and bad things that happened from 2012. I'm thankful for all the luck I've earned. I hope more good luck strikes this year. I wish for peace, happiness and awesome health for me and my loved ones. I know the best is yet to come!

Keep moving forward! And may we all find love whichever way and kind we want it!

ELTON JOHN & BAND LIVE IN MANILA (WITH THE 2CELLOS)

‎"Everybody loves you when you're six foot in the ground." - John Lennon
Based on what I saw from the crowd last night, Elton John is so much loved. Even at the age of 65, he's still keeping it up. Even if there are horrible comments in forums of some people bashing his sexual orientation and that he's just too old for this era, it didn't stop him from performing at his best. Based on what John Lennon said, I believe he'll be loved so much by everyone when that day comes, even by freaking homophobes and idiots. He's that great.Well, that's 40 years of music in one night!

2CELLOS

2CELLOS (Stjepan Hauser and Luka Sulic)
From www.2cellos.com

As a child, I thought the cello is very much like the double bass. Anything that is not the violin like the viola and cello instantly sounds like the double bass to me even if I haven't heard how they individually sound then. I'm scared of the double bass simply because it's so tall and big (and now I'm all grown up, it's not so big anymore). I'm practically exposed to classical music since my brother took a music degree in college, and I've attended many orchestra concerts because of him but I couldn't differentiate the other members of the violin family, even so the flute family. Guess my ears were limited to the piano, flute and violin. :(

JAYESSLEE Live in Manila 2012

Last night, we went to Robinsons Forum (Pioneer) at 7:30 pm to watch JAYESSLEE. Janice and Sonia Lee are Korean-Australian Youtube sensation twins, and they've got an amazing talent. This is the first time I ever attended a concert (a commercial one! I've attended classical music concerts before as a kid.)! <3

The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber in Manila!

Luzia got the ticket from her aunt. Senior Citizen. So there.
On a Wednesday noon while I was preparing my mind that I’ll be watching Varekai on that day, my friend, Luzia sent me a text message asking me if I’m free on the coming Saturday. I knew I would be, but I was ready to refuse whatever offer she may have as I’m too lazy to get out on that weekend.
